Unlike some other bedside cribs unlike other cribs for bedside use, the Roomie Glide is suitable for all beds, including divans due to its straps and clip attachment. The most important thing to keep in mind is that even though this crib is ideal for newborns, it won't last long once your baby turns six months old, and you will require a bigger cot. But, in general Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide was a really good buy and she especially liked its sleek design.
John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a reasonable price for a cot. She also liked how it appeared in the bedroom, and believed that the grey color is a good fit for modern homes. However, she pointed that it's not an ideal idea to rock a younger baby, as it can create an unhealthy habit that can affect later sleep patterns.
The Tutti Bambini CoZee
The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning crib for bed designed with a safe night's sleep in mind. It features a drop side rail which can be easily removed for feedings at night without having to disturb your little one or get up It's perfect for mothers who are breastfeeding! It's also light, making it easy to move around the house during nap time and for travelling.
It's made of soft materials and has mesh sides that breathe to increase airflow. It is available in charcoal or oak and a range of melange fabrics that will blend with all styles of decor. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure when attached to her bed, with the legs firmly snapping into the bed and the zips secured to ensure safety for babies. It took her about 10 minutes to assemble it and didn't require any tools, with clear instructions and a video or customer support contact number should you have any issues.
In addition to the standard features you'd expect from a crib that is bedside such as the ability to connect to your existing bed with a stay-in place connection system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option that can be used to help aid congestion or reflux in infants. It is also machine-washable essential for all the spills and snot that come with a newborn baby!
The CoZee is a fantastic option for keeping your child close during their first six months of learning to fall asleep independently. It can be used as a crib, changing station or toddler bed. It can be turned into a sofa bed with the addition of an extension pack. While it won't magically make your baby sleep or feed them, it can rock the baby and take them to school.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of the more expensive models, but it has a wide array of features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper or as a standalone crib that is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It features a brand new mechanism to open and close the side panel. It's easy to operate, even for one-handed operation. It is also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height settings and retractable legs for a secure installation underneath any bed.
Our testers loved the ease of access the side panel provides, which can be moved up and down with just one push of one button. This was particularly helpful at night, as they could reach inside and pick up their baby without waking them.
The side panel can be lifted by itself however, it's not recommended as this increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. The safety locking system makes sure that the side panel will remain in place when it is connected correctly to the parent's mattress. This is an excellent feature to have for peace mind, particularly in the case of breastfeeding and frequent feedings at night.

It also has tilting functions to help babies who are refluxy and a rocking mode to help them sleep after feeding. It's also very spacious and has excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.
Our testers found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, though it does come with an extensive instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers but it can still be easily moved from one area to another. It's small enough to fit into its travel bag when not in use, which is a bonus if you need to transport it. The only negative our testers found is that the side panel did not move as much as other models. This caused it to be a bit more difficult to see the baby from your bed.
The Shnuggle Air
If you're in search of a bedside crib that will develop with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth looking into. Designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that will attach securely to your bed, but can also transform into a chic cot when your baby is ready. It's ideal for feeding at night and growing your bond with your infant.
The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, unlike some other cribs. Its dual-view mesh sides as well as breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress increase airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline helps to ease reflux and colic, while the zip down side allows you to feed or soothe your baby at night.
The kit for conversion to cot (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear directions and everything you require to start. It took us about an hour to put together and was surprisingly simple. The only downside to the instructions was that some images did not have captions. This made it difficult for us to follow. Overall, the process was simple and the materials used were of top quality.
The Shnuggle Air is a great choice for mothers who are nursing or have had an e-csection. It allows them to reach out and hold their baby to comfort them and feeding without having to leave their bed. It's also great for parents who want to avoid the difficulty of getting into and out of a traditional cot or placing their child down to sleep.
In our tests we observed the gliding motion of this next to me crib to be extremely beneficial in lulling babies back to sleep after feedings at night and midday. The drop-down sides make it easy to feed or soothe babies throughout the night. This was a major selling point for our tired test mums. Although it doesn't rock, or come with extra features, like a sound system, the Joie Roomie Slide's sleek design and functional features make it a great addition to our best bedside crib reviews.
